2010 Basket Bingo and Silent Auction
NEW DATE! FRIDAY, MARCH 26, 2010,
WHS CAFETERIA, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The third annual Basket Bingo and Silent Auction will take place Friday, March 26, 2010,
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm in the Westfield High School in the cafeteria

This is a favorite event for the community - make sure you invite friends, family and neighbors - the right are pictures from last year's event.

Please note every crew athlete will be receiving two tickets to sell or to attend the event.

Brief description of jobs:


Refreshments:  Purchase, set up and staff the refreshment booth during the bingo game


Decorations:  Purchase Balloons or center pieces


Basket Creation:  Need two people to be collection locations for donations.  One person needed to host the basket creation event.  4 more people to assist creating the baskets.  This should take place on or around 1/26 so pictures can be displayed

Event Program:  create an event program that describes baskets (post assembly) and copy program.  Completed by 2/4

Collection and assembly of silent auction items:  Assemble and deliver them to the school by 3:00 PM on 2/06.

Set Up Crew: set up tables; microphone and podium; Bingo Board; Baskets; Door Prizes; Entrance Table (take tickets; check in people); pass out Bingo Games and sell additional games @ $5/book to those who want to play multiple games concurrently. 


Concessions Help:  Help with selling concessions


Sales:  parents to take tickets; sell markers; sell extra books to ticket holders, and monitor doors 2 shifts

Silent auction management: 2 parents to tally silent auction results; announce winners; collect receipts and present baskets. 7-8 pm

Game assistance: 2 parents/8 athletes to announce baskets played for in each round, deliver of each to the winner and will help with the Bingo Board.

Clean Up: 6 parents/8 athletes, 8 - done
