Tom Moulen: Head Coach
Tom joined Westfield High School Crew in 2008 and has over 25 years rowing experience on the local and national level. Tom began his rowing career at Mary Washington College where he aided in its crew team formation. Following college, Tom spent several years as a lightweight rower for Potomac Boat Club’s highly regarded club program. During this time Tom also began coaching both the club and high school level, stacking up an impressive number of victories. This included several medal performances at the Virginia State Championships, the SRAA National Championship Regatta, and the Stotesbury National Regatta. In 1993 and 1995 the Washington Post selected Tom as its All-Met Rowing Coach of Year.
Kelsey Taylor: Assistant Women's Coach
Coach Kelsey has been rowing and competing since her junior year of high school. She attended C.D. Hylton and graduated in 2001 with a scholarship to attend Washington College in Chestertown, MD. At Washington College she rowed under esteemed coach, Mike Davenport. After graduating with a B.A. in Political Science she moved back home to work for the federal government. Rowing competitively with PWRC for three years she decided to go back to her high school and coach the women's team. After coaching varsity for three years she decided to move on to bigger and better and come to Westfield.
Robbie Cecil: Assistant Men's Coach
Robbie is an alumna of the Westfield Crew program. He is a graduate of George Mason and joined the coaching staff in the Fall of 2014.
Perry Cox: Assistant Men's Coach
Perry is an alumna of Westfield Crew program. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia where he rowed for 4 years. Perry joined the coaching staff in the Fall of 2016.
Stephan Bachman: Assistant Women's Coach
Stephan is an alumna of the Westfield Crew program. He is a graduate of Fairfax County Fireman school and joined the coaching staff in the Fall of 2014.
